What is a 'Body Foundation'?

To move your body correctly, that is to say with; efficiency, strength and grace, your body needs foundational strength in critical areas, including:
 

  • Postural Strength

  • Core Strength

  • Structural (joint) Strength

  • Functional Strength

When you have your foundation sorted, you can then more safely train with greater intensity resulting in a faster metabolism and more rapid weight loss and fitness gains.

We ensure that you are set up to succeed from the beginning by effectively addressing these elements in the Body Foundations program.

To prevent injury and feel more comfortable, it is also important to develop flexibility and restore the pain-free natural range of motion (ROM) that your body should be able to move through. This is also developed in the Body Foundations program.

Next Intake Begins 25th July*

In the Foundations program you will learn all of the functional movement patterns that enable you to feel strong and capable in addressing any physical challenge in your life.

Functional strengthening is not like the isolation strengthening used in traditional body building (which develops big bulky muscles), rather it develops lean, toned and shapely muscles resulting in a more athletic body.

All Body Foundations participants are eligible to join our ongoing Mind Shaping sessions which address the various other important elements that impact on your success, such as:

- Dietary Influences
- Work Challenges
- Your emotional/mood state
- Your mental clarity and focus
- Your energy levels
- Other lifestyle related challenges

All Body Foundations sessions are run 'free-style', meaning that there is no specific program set for each session; other than to target the whole body in a variety of ways to get in an effective workout. By running the sessions this way we can adjust the pace or content if necessary to facilitate learning effectively for each individual in the group (max 6 people per group).

People completing the Body Foundations program have the option of continuing on to our Body Ignite programs and honing their workout skills and experience more specifically to their individual desire; in addition to developing greater autonomy.
