In video #4 we delve deeper into the personal experience and into the feeling state commonly understood to be emotions. Although often-times we might have a 'plan' and a rational justification as to why we should follow it, the reality is that for many of us, how we feel more greatly determines our choices than our rationality and will.
At times it is helpful to be guided by our feelings, and yet it is also the case that when our passing moods consistently determine the outcome of our lives, we have lost control over our self and are now falling victim to the random influences of our environment. Because consistency is an essential component of success, we must develop self-control in this regard to effectively move forward.
